Aavin introduces half-litre curd packet priced at Rs. 25

The sales of half-litre curd packets were introduced by Aavin yesterday (Wednesday, 19th April) at a price of Rs. 25.
State Minister Mr. Rajendra Balaji inaugurated this special occasion by selling the first few curd packets.
11.70 Lakh litres of Aavin milk are sold every day in Chennai Metro. From other producers and individuals who sell, 60000 litres of milk are sold every day.
Curd, in 200 ml packets and cups is sold at an average of 1000 to 1500 litres every day in Chennai. With a view to improving the sales further, a new half-litre packet of curd has been introduced at a price of Rs. 25.
