South Korean mobile maker Samsung has become the most trustworthy brand in India. This is followed by Sony and LG. Tata Group makes India proud as the only Indian company being in the top 5. To attain this top spot, Samsung has migrated for about 17 positions. It had earlier slipped through 154 positions, says The Brand Trust Report 2017. Both Sony and LG remain in the same place as in 2016 whereas the US based iPhone maker Apple has acquired the 4th place, uplifting itself by 12 places.
In 5th and 6th positions are Tata Group and Honda. Maruti Suzuki, the largest carmaker in the country has acquired the 7th place, jumping 4 spots up. Dell stands in the 8th position. This follows Lenovo in the 9th place which was in the 27th position last year. Bajaj was in 7th position last year and has now dropped to position 10. Four brands that were in 2016 list have slipped out in this year�s list: Samsung Mobiles, Nokia, Godrej and ICICI Bank, said N. Chandramouli, the TRA Research Chief Executive Officer.
The survey conducted by TRA Research involved 2500 respondents from 16 cities. Findings of the survey are compiled as report.
