Supreme Court bans sales of vehicles with BS-3 regulations

The Supreme Court has banned the sales of vehicles with the BS-3 regulations. With this order, a large number of 4-wheelers and 2-wheelers, manufacture with BS-3 regulations remain unsold.
The car manufacturers made an appeal to the Supreme Court to allow the sales of these vehicles.
However, the Environment and Pollution Control Board has objected strongly to this appeal.
Accordingly, the Supreme Court has ordered banning the sales of vehicles with BS-3 regulations from 1st April.
