Special Abhishekham on Durgai Amman and procession at Tiruvannamalai temple
On the sacred occasion of the Maha Kumbhabhishekam Festival at the famous temple of Thiruvannamalai Lord (His Kindness) Arunachaleeswara, a special abhishekham was performed today (Friday, 27th January) on the deity of Sri Durgai Amman.
After the special abhishekham, the deity of Sri Durgai Amman will be taken on a special procession on the carriage Silver Indira Vimanam across the temple corridor streets of the city.
