MBBS and BDS application sales start on tuesday in TN

Seven hundred applications were sold in the district for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses through the K.A.P.Viswanatham Government Medical College on the first day on Tuesday.
The applications, according to official sources will be issued on all days barring public holidays and weekly holidays till May 30, and the last date for submission of filled-in application is June 2. The merit list expected to be declared on June 20 will be made available on the internet: www.tnhealth.org / www.tn.gov.in, and the first phase of seat allotment will commence on July 2.
The filled-in application must be submitted along with three self-addressed envelopes measuring 23 x 10 cm and sent in a large sized cover measuring 38 cm x 28 cm superscribed �Application for MBBS/ BDS Course 2012-2013 session` to the secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai�10, before the last date.
The application should be sent along with a demand draft for Rs.500 towards the cost of application from drawn in favour of the secretary, Selection Committee and payable at Chennai.
The name of the candidate and that of the course (MBBS/BDS) should be written on the reverse of the demand draft. SC / SCA and ST candidates who are natives of Tamil Nadu are exempted from payment of the cost of application form, official sources added.
