Sirucherry and many other surrounding locales are known for the Information Technology based firms and it�s all getting bigger on the protest as the staffs and employees around 5000 out there are involved in the non-stop protest against Jallikattu issue. The Tamil Nadu High Court imposed a strict ban on Jallikattu in 2014. In accordance to this, the world famous places like Alanganallur, Aavani Puram, Paalamedu, Siraavayal in Sivagangai, etc that are familiar for Jallikattu has been banned from playing this sport for the span of past 3 years.
To make this come to an end, the youngsters from all over Tamil Nadu have been raising their voice to lift the ban. The youngsters working at IT firm in SIPCOT, Sirucherry in regards to this movement have raised their voice of support against Jallikattu ban that started from yesterday morning. They all assembled near the premises of TCS and went ahead with procession.
The protest that commenced yesterday morning went continued for whole night that involved 5000 staffs from IT companies. They have affirmed that the protest will continue till the ban of Jallikattu is lifted.
