TN government announces Pongal gift pack for ration card holders

On the special occasion of the Pongal Festival, the state government of Tamil Nadu has announced Pongal special gift pack. Pongal is scheduled to be celebrated on 14th January.
In this scenario, the state government of Tamil Nadu, headed by O. Panneerselvam has announced this special gift pack.
Accordingly, 1.80 Crores ration card holders stand to get this prize package of 1kg raw rice, 1 kg sugar, cashew nuts, dried grapes, cardamom, and 2 inch long sugar cane piece.
Pongal special gift pack will be available in the Fair Price Shops before Pongal for distribution.
