LG Electronics has announced that it will to unveil five new-mid range smartphone at the CES 2017 slated to be held in Las Vegas in January next year.
LG said that it will add new mid-range smartphones in its K-series - the K3, K4, K8 and K10, along with the Stylus 3, which will come with a stylus pen. Although, the company has not disclosed the pricing details of any of the handsets, they are expected to range between $166 and $332, approximately Rs 11,000 to Rs 22,000.
Industry analysts say that LG smartphones shipment declined 1.4 million in the third quarter this year compared to last year. Since the major high-end smartphone market is largely occupied by Apple and Samsung Electronics. LG has decided to play in the mid-priced smartphone market space, which could help it increase its sales in the industry.
