Rs 2000 notes to be dispensed by ATMs from today

Yesterday Rs 2000 notes were dispensed by the ATMs. It is expected that new 500 new notes will be introduced in a day or two.
Once the government demonetized the 500 and 1000 rupee notes, the new Rs 2000 notes were put in circulation. Public have been receiving the new notes in the banks and post offices.
It is very difficult to use the new 2000 rupee notes. Since the Rs 500 new notes are yet to be circulated and with limited 100 rupee notes, it is very difficult to get changes.
At a time when the new 2000 rupee notes are being dispensed in banks and post offices, efforts are being made to dispense the cash through ATMs. Yesterday, some of the ATMs of Indian Bank and State Bank of India dispensed Rs 2000 notes. For the last four days, people were able to get only 100 rupee notes. Yesterday people were in joyful mood because they were able to get Rs 2000. From today it is expected that all ATMs will dispense Rs 2000 notes.
