No ATM usage charge until December 16

Taking under consideration, the need of public, bank officials have announced that the ATM usage charges will be waived off until end of December 2016.
People are thronging in to the banks to get their demonetized Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes exchanged for new ones. As people are now unable to use these old notes, it has become really difficult to buy veggies, provisions and other indispensable products. As a good number of ATMs had started functioning yesterday, people have started using ATMs to withdraw cash.
ATM usage limit
Customers were allowed to make free ATM withdrawal from their respective bank�s ATMs for up to 5 times per month and at other banks� ATMs for up to 3 times in a month for free. ATM usage charge of Rs 20 will be applicable for each and every transaction made above free usage limit, and the amount will be debit from the respective bank account.
As of now, people prefer getting Rs 100 notes so that they can easily meet their own expenses. Hence, they are cornered to use the debit card several times. Public thus started placing plea to waive off ATM usage charges for any number of transactions. Catering to their pleas, bank officials have announced that the ATM transaction charges will be waived off up to December this year. Furthermore, withdrawal can also be done at other bank ATMs for any number of times free of charge.
