Indian Bank officials: 2 more weeks for normal operations

The General Managers of the public sector Indian Bank informed that there were transactions for Rs. 33 Crores in a single day.The Indian Bank officials informed in Chennai that as per the limits set by the central government, unlimited number of Rs, 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes can be deposited.Indian Bank has 1777 ATMs functioning.
The balance ATMs also will resume functioning shortly.There were transactions worth Rs. 14.5 Crores in Tamil Nadu.There were 1.75 Lakhs transactions. Totally, Rs, 33 Crores worth if transactions were made. It may take another 2 weeks for normalcy to be restored.
