Linkedin signs MoU with the central government to create job opportunities

The popular social networking website Linkedin which is providing information regarding job opportunities has signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) planning to create more job opportunities.
In a scheme called Placement, all colleges licensed by AICTE will be linked.
Linkedin has informed that this will facilitate equal job opportunities irrespective of the candidate`s place of living � whether it is a city or a village. It has further informed that the scheme Placement will help find job opportunities to work in the important 35 corporate establishments.
The Head of Linkedin India, Mr. Ahshay Kothari, informed that it is a delight to work jointly with AICTE and the central ministry of human welfare. The topmost goal of Linkedin is to provide job opportunities for meritorious students.
The scheme Placement was started on a test run in November 2015. It was officially declared functioning in September 2016. During the last 8 weeks, more than 2 lakhs students have registered.
