Tamil Nadu government promoted and transferred some IPS officers in the state.
An official release issued said D Mahesh Kumar, Additional SP, Crime, Perambalur district has been promoted as Superintendent of Police and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ambattur, Greater Chennai Police, in the existing vacancy.
S Baskaran, Additional SP, Crime, Tiruppur district, has been promoted as Superintendent of Police and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Madurai city.
K V Kabilan, Additional SP/Deputy Commandant, Tamil Nadu Special Police, Special Force, Veerapuram is promoted as Superintendent of Police and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Control Room, Greater Chennai. C. Rajendran, Additional SP, Crime, Thiruvarur district has been promoted as Superintendent of Police and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime, Madurai city.
M Annadurai, Additional SP, Crime, Coimbatore district, has been promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police, Security Branch CID-II, Chennai. S Pattabi, Additional SP, Crime, Vellore district is promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police, Pudukottai district in the place of M S Muthusamy, posted as Superintendent of Police, Salem District.
J Bhaskaran, Superintendent of Police, Salem District, is transferred and posted as Commandant, TSP, IX Battalion, Manimuthar in the place of J Rajendran, posted as Superintendent of Police, Krishnagiri district.
