Rs.300 worth vegetable kit to set up terrace gardens

The department of Horticulture has informed that a package of items like seeds and fertilizers worth Rs. 500/- would be sold at Rs. 300/-.
An official from the department of Horticulture explained:
Terrace garden Scheme was commenced in 4 districts including Chennai.With the huge popularity of this scheme, it is planned to expand the same throughout the state of Tamil Nadu.The vegetable kit sold under the scheme with a discount of 40 percent, the buyers need to pay only at Rs. 300/-.
The kit contains 5 bags of coconut fibre cakes, scissors a,d seeds for 10 vegetables including brinjal, ladys finger, and tomato, 200 grams of bacterial fertilizers, 200 grams of phospho bacteria fertilizer and 100 grams each of submenus, Trico derma fertilizers, and 1 kg of fertilizers which can be dissolved in water, 100 ml of neem-insect insecticide, and technical tips. A single person can buy a maximum of 5 vegetable kits.Persons interested can get a subsidy of 50 percent to set up a shadow-covered netted tent covering an area of 10 sqm. The net tent worth Rs. 7100 is sold at Rs. 3550/- under this scheme.
The buyers have to submit particulars of property tax payment receipts, lease agreement letter with the landlord, family ration card, Aadhar card, and Voter ID card to the Assistant Director of the department of horticulture.
