There is a special fun and joy in traveling in train. However long train journey is always problematic when it comes to getting quality food. Here comes a solution with the Indian Railways� e-catering services, a contemporary scheme all set to get launched.
According to this scheme, commuters can place orders for tasty fast food items using mobile applications when they are on a long trip. By placing their orders along with seat number and other details, the commuter will receive food right at their seat when the train halts in stations for two minutes.
The Indian Railways has also joined hands with renowned private restaurants and hotels to make this scheme possible. As the scheme has now come to practice, railway passengers are making use of it to enjoy their favorite food items served hot.
This scheme will further get expanded with setting up of private restaurants right within the railway station premises and supply freshly prepared foods. This scheme is named Space Kitchen and will get soon launched.
