5 persons arrested in Muthoot Mini burglary case

Tirupur police have arrested 5 persons in Muthoot Mini burglary case. Police are hunting for 3 more persons. Police have recovered more than 1000 sovereign jewels from the arrested persons, sources say.
The arrested included an employee of the firm, who allegedly masterminded the robbery on September 24.
A senior police officer said search was on for a few more suspects. �We are questioning the detained five men. Clues are coming in,� he said, adding that the investigators had suspected from the very beginning that the sensational robbery was an insider�s job since the gang could easily open the complicated electronic locker to take away the gold ornaments pawned by clients.
Also, the crime was committed without disturbing any furniture in the office, which showed that the robbers knew the interiors rather well.
