Chief minister J. Jayalalithaa launched the �e-ticketing� scheme on Monday. And, the state transport corporation has decided to extend its online booking centres to 250 new destinations, against the present 52 centres across the state.Henceforth, passengers can book their tickets online 30 days in advance.
The new facility is applicable for travel in 1,000 buses of the state express transport corporation (SETC) and a few other long-distance buses of other transport corporations.
Passengers can log onto the department`s website (www.tnstc.in) and book their tickets through credit or debit cards.
