Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers Anna Medals to 126 police officers

In recognition of the Outstanding Devotion to Duty of the Police, Fire & Rescue Service, Prison Service, Home Guards and Finger Print Science personnel in the State and also to encourage them, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister�s Medals are announced and awarded on the occasion of Dr. Anna�s Birthday on 15th September, every year.
A total of 126 personnel including 100 of those from state police department have been chosen for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister`s Anna Medal in recognition of their outstanding devotion to duty,
The recipients of the above Medal are eligible for a lump sum grant according to the ranks as specified in the Medal rules
These medals will be presented by Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in a ceremonial parade to be held later,
