Eastern parts of India are likely that it may receive a huge earthquake causing devastating effects. This is presently lying under Bangladesh, say researchers.
There are evident that the pressure on tectonic plates under world�s largest riverbeds is surging, the researchers claim. This earthquake might affect over 14 crore people, the research report adds. This means due to shaking of the earth, there will not just be predicament to the earth, but changeover in rivers as well. There will be severe changes with the land areas close to sea level. One part of the earth�s crust or the tectonic plate will overlap on another plate.
It is on such zones that the world�s largest earthquakes occur. The most horrible Chile earthquake, the Sumatra earthquake that swallowed 2,30,000 lives in 2004 and the 2011 Tsunami are all of this kind.
However, the difference lies with the subduction zone. So far, this has been present under the sea, but this time the zone is present in land areas in India and Bangladesh. This is the most terrific element of this earthquake alert.
This holds the pressure accumulated in the past 400 years. There is not any evidence for the occurrence of any such humongous earthquake.
