Annamalai University releases the rank list for MBBS and BDS courses

Annamalai University has released the rank list for MBBS and BDS courses on Friday. Annamalai University had invited applications for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Applications were received up to 20th June.
Nearly 150 seats were allotted for MBBS and 80 seats for BDS.
In total, 4,906 applications have been received for MBBS and 1,079 applications for BDS. Of this, 276 applications for MBBS were rejected and 52 for BDS.
Random number has been assigned to the applicants for MBBS and BDS on 27th June.
Prof. S Manian, Vice-Chancellor released the rank list for MBBS and BDS for 2016-17 on Friday.
Admission will be made only on the basis of merit by following the rule of reservation of Government of Tamil Nadu. Nearly 3 per cent of the total seats available are reserved for the differently abled persons. This year 15 differently abled persons have applied for MBBS course and 2 have applied for BDS course.
Counselling for MBBS would be held on July 6 and for BDS on July 8. Eligible students can attend counselling after downloading call letters from the website www.annamalaiuniversity.ac
The counselling schedule is also posted on the website. SMSs will be sent to the eligible candidates. For assistance, students can call the helpline 0414-238348/238349 or send an e-mail to auadmission2016@ gmail.com.
