Central Government: ban on sales of used Apple iphones

The central government has banned the selling of used Apple smartphones.
Apple was engaged in making efforts to set up importing used Apple Phones in India and selling them as made in the USA.
However, the news is gathered that the central government has banned the idea of importing used Apple phones and selling them in India.
It is learnt that the Ministry of Telecommunications has taken this decision following the recommendation from the Ministry of Environment in order to reduce the quantum of electronic waste in the country.
