Reserve Bank of India cautions about Rs. 1000/- Currency Notes

As counterfeit currency notes of Rs. 1000/- has been set in circulation, Reserve Bank of India has issued a circular to all banks to avoid accepting Rs. 1000/- currency notes bearing the serial numbers 2AQ & 8AC.
It is worth mentioning here that Indian Intelligence Bureau had warned about the circulation of fake Rs. 1000/- currency notes worth Rs. 2000 Crores with the intention to sabotage the Indian Economy.
