Amitabh Bachchan says Rajni asked him not to do Endhiran

Amitabh Bachchan has said that his good friend of Tamil superstar Rajnikanth advised him against playing the role of the villain in Endhiran. The actor, it was rumoured, was also approached for the movie`s sequel.
Saying that this was not true, Mr. Bachchan also said, `Shankar had come to me and he wanted me to play the villain (in `Endhiran`). I called Rajini. He said, `people will not accept you as a villain, so don`t do it`. I said ok.`
