4 more family courts to Chennai

Considering the increasing number of family disputes the State government has sanctioned four new such courts for the city.
The government has also allotted Rs. 3.15 crore for setting up the courts which would be presided over by an officer in the cadre of District Judge. The State would also face a recurring expenditure of Rs. 57.22 lakh towards salaries of the 15 staff members who would be deputed to the four courts.
