Lots of surprising changes have been happening in the Election committee. Winning good appreciations for his designated accomplishments as chief electoral officer, Sandeep Saxena is now appointed as the deputy election commissioner, who will be taking over the position of R Balakrishnan. The official announcement on this new position of Sandeep was made last evening and he will start working from New Delhi.
It is worth mentioning that Sandeep was appointed as CEO last year on October 27 and has been a part of two by elections, which includes the one in Sri Rangam that happened after Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha was convicted of inappropriate records owing to assets and another by election in RK Nagar.
Speaking on this occasion of getting new appointment Sanjay has said that he is awaiting the election commission to report the formal news to State Government following which he will be relieved.
