An upper air cyclonic circulation which persist over the Bay of Bengal may bring rains in Tamil Nadu. This was confirmed by Meteorological Department. Upper air cyclonic circulation is persisting over South western Bay of Bengal near SriLanka seas. Because of this, there will be heavy rains in some part of Tamil Nadu. Moreover there is also upper air cyclonic circulation in Andaman seas. It is expected that this will also bring rains for the next 3 days in some places of Tamil Nadu.
Meteorological Department has mentioned that the North East Monsoon rains will commence from 25th October. Rains in Tamil Nadu will be more from 27th of this month.
As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition would be partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 34 and 26 deg Celsius respectively.
