A research conducted by the company JLL reveals that the sales of new houses/flats will be dull in the current festive season.
There is a general trend for the sales of new houses/flats to pick up by 25% to 30% during the festive season. However, the survey reveals that in the current year festive season, the sales is expected to be up only by 15% to 20%.
The survey explains that the main reason for the drop in sales is the high price of the new houses/flats.
In order for the sales of new houses/flats to pick up, it is recommended that the government should reduce the various taxes associated with these sales and also the government should take immediate steps to reduce unnecessary delays in approvals.
