Southern Railways decide to operate 20 special trains on the occasion of Deepavali

Coming 10th November will be the festival of Deepavali. In order to facilitate people going to their native places on the occasion of this festive season, Southern Railway has decided to operate 20 special trains from Chennai Central and Chennai Egmore.
In the last railway budget, the advance booking date was enhanced from 60 days to 120 days. So people can book tickets earlier. Because of this all reservations for the south bound trains have become full. People are not able to book now. So people are eagerly waiting for the announcement of special trains.
Now Southern Railway has decided to operate special trains from Chennai to Coimbatore, Nellai, Madurai and Trichy. The official announcement regarding this will be made within 10 days.
