Thirumangalam flyover to be opened soon

Day by day, the traffic in Chennai is increasing heavily. In view of this, many flyovers are being built in Chennai. In Thirumangalam, the flyover work is going for the past four years. Now the officials mention that the work is coming to an end and it will be very soon open to public.
Officials from the highways department, which is executing the 60 crore project, said the flyover being built on Inner Ring Road will soar over the junction of Anna Nagar 2nd Avenue and Mogappair Road. Once opened, it is expected to ease the commuting woes of for residents in the western parts of the city like Koyambedu, Ambattur, Red Hills and Avadi. About 19 crore has gone towards land acquisition.
