Counseling for B Ed course from 28th September

There are 7 government educations colleges and 14 government-aided education colleges in Tamil Nadu.
1777 seats for B Ed courses are to be filled up this year through counselling.
Application forms for B Ed courses were sold from 3rd September till 10th September. 12th September was the last date for submitting applications.
More than 7000 applications have been received.
The counselling dates for this B Ed course was released by Tamil Nadu B Ed course admission secretary & the Head of Lady Willingdon Education Development Company.
Counseling is scheduled from 28th September and continues till 5th October between 9.00 AM & 1.00 PM (forenoons) and 1.00 PM & 5.00 PM (afternoons).
Counseling will be conducted at lady Willingdon Education Development Company. The invitation letter for counseling will be sent to the candidates from 16th September. They will be informed through sms as well.
Till last year, 2100 B Ed seats in government & government-aided education schools through a single-window system.
This year as per the rules of NETC (National Council for Teachers Education) the seats for B Ed courses were reduced to 1777. Hence, it is likely that the cut-off marks will be raised.
