Central government plans to include Ramyana, Mahabhratha & Bagavat Gita in School/College syllabus

Central government has informed that it is exploring the possibility to include the epics Ramayana, Mahabharatha, and Bagavat Gita in the syllabus for schools & colleges.
Central Minister of State for Culture and human welfare development, Mr. Mahesh Sharma informed about this plan.
Mahesh Sharma informed that the younger generation must learn about the country`s glorious cultural past irrespective of their caste or religion.
When the question was raised whether this plan is to endorse the policies of RSS (Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh), the minister replied that RSS is not an anti-national outfit and there is nothing wrong about its policies.
