The Mambalam Telephone Exchange will shift to Next Generation Network (NGN) in Phase II from Thursday afternoon. BSNL released a press statement to the effect. The statement said that the numbers for the migration are 24320000 to 24323999 and 24326000 to 24329999.
According to the press release, the telephone numbers, existing plan charges and the billing cycles of customers will not affected by the change.
Those who have STD/ISD facility with dynamic lock will need to re register the password after Thursday. They can do so by dialing 123, followed by a 4 digit password. Customers may also verify any subscribed value added services.
