Security beefed up in Chennai

The Tamil Nadu State Government has beefed up the security in view of the Tamil Nadu Global Investors` Meet which is scheduled for September 9 and 10
There will be extensive security at Chennai Trade Centre as well as the airport and hotels where delegates are staying. Delegates will be escorted from the airport to the hotel and venue.
The routes to the venues from various places will also see more policemen monitoring them. The anti-terrorism and intelligence teams are on high-alert. Policemen in plain clothes have also been posted.
