Aavin is also selling ice creams in all districts in the State. The response from the districts has been very good. We are procuring more refrigerated vans to enhance supply. Once our Ambattur plant becomes operational in about two months, ice cream production will increase to 15,000 litres a day from the present 3,000 litres... We also provide free branding at the location. Already 18 colleges and canteens attached to several schools sell our ice creams, said an official.
