PM concerned about hike in airfare

As there is a steep rise in airfares during festival seasons, PM Narendra Modi has raised a concern. As a move to meet this, the civil aviation ministry has thought of instances to curb these happenings. It has been a common practice for the airlines to hike price of air tickets during festival seasons as more people travel at these times.
