Online complaints with railway turn a failure

Though there are various moves taken by the railways to make use of internet for providing better services to passengers, the ways to file complaints online and receive passenger feedback are turning a failure.
It is in fact more than a year since a single complaint has been received from the passengers online. However, it is said that complaint filing got closed as the railway department wanted to focus on the existing complaints that are to be met. Passengers are rather requested to file complaints afresh.
Speaking about this, one of the passengers who often travels to Trichy for his mother�s medical needs says he filed a complaint in 2013 stating the battery cars were not functioning for the disabled. He then filed one more complaint in the following year.
These cars which are battery operated were introduced at the Egmore railway station two years ago. It was said that passengers will be provided with the facility to head to all platforms of the station. However, necessary step to provide the service was not taken.
