Free Accident Insurance Policies distributed to women on the day of Rakshabandhan!

`Rakshabandhan` which signifies the glorious relationship between brothers & sisters, was celebrated throughout India on Saturday, 29th August. Free Accident coverage insurance policies were distributed to women on this day at Chennai.
These free accident coverage policies were distributed on behalf of BJP (Bharathiya Janatha Party) in Chennai. An event was organised by BJP in Velacherry, Chennai BJP�s Tamil Nadu State Head, Ms. Thamizhisai Soundararajan, participated and tied the wrist bands on the public signifying the brother-sister relationship. She also distributed free accident coverage insurance policies for more than 200 women.
State BJP vice-president, Ms. Vanathi Srinivasan, participated in a similar event organised in Mylapore, Chennai, when she participated in the band-tying ceremony. She distributed free accident coverage insurance policies for more than 100 women.
Ms. Vanathi srinivasan explained the features of the accident coverage insurance policy that Rs. 2 Lakh accident coverage can be obtained by paying just Rs. 12/- as annual premium.
