Central government has announced that the recently banned popular instant food item, Maggi noodles (product of Nestle) will be back in sales.
Sales of instant noodles Maggi was banned after a finding that it harmful to health from June. However, Central Minister for Consumers Affairs, Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan, informed that Maggi instant noodles will be back on sales.
While participating in an event in Delhi, the minister informed that on the basis of the latest tests and analysis, it has been proved and established that Maggi instant noodles are fair for human consumption. Hence the current ban on this product will be withdrawn and Maggi noodles will be back in sales.
The Minister observed that the approach of investors in India has changed after the ban of Maggi noodles and they feel that they have to deliberate many times before making an investment in India following this ban. However, the minister emphasized health of the consumer is the topmost priority and any decision will be taken accordingly.
