Windows 10 launched

Windows has unveiled the updated Windows 10 operating system in 190 countries around the world. The company has said that upgrades for users of Windows 7 and 8.1 will get free upgrades. This comes as good news as the company is known for not giving out freebies. However, those who would like to upgrade from Windows Vista, Windows XP, those who want to switch from Mac or those assembling their own PCs will have to opt for the paid version. The paid versions are available in the Windows Store - the Home Version is priced at Rs. 7999 and the Pro version at Rs. 14999.
The new version can only be downloaded from the web - there is no CD. It will need 4 GB of space. Experts advise users to store the version on a thumb drive and then upload onto your computer.
This upgrade has a fingerprint password. However, your device should support fingerprint recognition. There is also a new search engine called Edge. This platform has integrated screens for searches, a scribble pad for writing and editing and an option where you can copy webpages and add comments to them.
The Mobile version of Windows 10 will be released in due time.
