How many vacant seats are there for MBBS & BDS??

Currently, 2nd stage counselling is being conducted for the students who had completed +2 to join MBBS & BDS courses at Chennai Omandhurar Government Multi-speciality hospital.
Around 767 seats reserved as government quota in self-financed dental colleges will be filled up.
2400 students had been called for 2nd stage counselling yesterday, Thursday, 23rd July. 1767 candidates did not participate.
For those who attended the counselling, 175 admission letters were given to 175 students under the Government MBBS. Government reservation quota for MBBS, and Government reserved quota for BDS. This was informed by the Medical education Admission Council secretary Dr Usha Sadasivam.
After the issue of above admission letters, 1 seat remains in Thirunelveli government MBBS, 28 government-reserved seats for MBBS in self-financed medical colleges, 2 seats for BDS in Chennai Parry�s Dental College and 767 seats are vacant for BDS in self-financed dental colleges.
Counselling is scheduled to fill up the above vacancies today & tomorrow.
Officials informed that the students who received admission letters should join before 31st July in the respective colleges. Classes for the 1st year MBBS are scheduled to start from 1st September.
