Scorching heat has come down in Chennai

For the last few days there was scorching heat in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. Now the heat has come down. The Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that the intensity of the heat will come down further in the coming days.
The heat was severe right from the beginning of July. During the first week, the mercury was not less than 40 degrees Celsius. Now for the last five days, the temperature was at 39 degrees Celsius. This did not come down.
But yesterday the temperature came down to 37.6 degrees. Right from the morning, the sky was cloudy. But the motorists felt very difficult because of the heat waves. Chennaites were expecting rain but they were cheated
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that the heat will come down more in the next 2 days.
