New services in domestic sector to be introduced by Jet Airways

Airline major Jet Airways will soon deploy more flights in the domestic sector. These new services will launch between July and September 2015. This means that the number of seats at Jet Airways will go from 63500 to 64500 per day. 

A daily service from Mumbai to Chennai will be launched with effect from July 23rd this year. This will be the ninth of its kind. Flight 9W 481 will depart from Mumbai at 1310 hrs and arrive in Chennai at 1505 hrs. On return, flight 9W 482 will depart Chennai at 1540 hrs and arrive Mumbai at 1730 hrs.

Speaking about the new services, a Jet Airways official said, �The additional frequencies have been introduced to cater to the growing demand on the high density routes and to ensure better connectivity between India�s emerging cities. Our constant effort is to provide our guests with convenient travel options and seamless connectivity across our network. These new frequencies are in line with Jet Airways� strategy to deliver a consistent, full service travel experience on the domestic network and we are confident that these new flights will prove to be popular with our guests.�

Another new service from Kolkata to Bengaluru will also be launched on July 23rd. This service will not work on Tuesdays alone. Flight 9W 662 will depart from Kolkata at 1045 hrs and arrive in Bengaluru at 1320 hrs. On return, flight 9W 661 will depart from Bengaluru at 1430 hrs and arrive in Kolkata at 1700 hrs. This flight will have connectivity to Guwahati, Patna and Ranchi. 

The first service to be launched will be today. Jet Airways flight 9W 2256 will depart Bhopal at 1545 hrs and arrive Lucknow via Delhi at 1915 hrs on five days a week between Mondays through Fridays. Similarly, Jet Airways flight 9W 2454 will depart Lucknow at 0745 hrs and arrive Indore via Delhi at 1150 hrs.

The other services include a fourth daily service between Mangaluru and Mumbai,  third daily service between Hyderabad and Rajamundry, and new daily flights between Bhopal and Indore and Lucknow via Delhi, and Bhopal and Hyderabad via Mumbai.
