Gone are the days when addresses were sought from auto drivers and strangers. We no more need to be blank about the route of even a place that we are visiting for the very first time in our entire life. When Google Maps can fetch you the entire route in-detail, what else is needed?

Google Maps is now recently updated with details of major national highways across India. One can get to know the real time traffic conditions of over 34 cities in India via Google Maps. This feature can be enjoyed both on desktop and mobile phones.
On clicking the option on Google Maps called �Traffic�, you will find four different categories indicated by four colors: green, orange, red and dark red. This is how the traffic condition is categorized.
� Green color � the vehicles are fast moving and traffic is less
� Orange � vehicles are faster in their movement
� Red � these are places of high traffic
� Dark red � these places have heavy traffic
This application can be used in order to know the traffic conditions in the city based on which one can decide whether to take a specific route or not. When you get to know the heavy traffic in one specific area, you can look for an alternative route of less traffic using Google Maps. Furthermore, the app can precisely predict the estimated time for traffic clearance.
