Dettol fails quality test; follows Maggie and Cerelac

In an inspection conducted in Uttar Pradesh, Dettol soap samples were tested and found to be of poor quality. Dettol is a leading brand in removing germs. This is available in liquid and soap forms.
Samples of Dettol and 10 other medicines were sent for testing by FDA officials, Agra. These were went to Lucknow for performing the test. The test proved all the eleven items to be of poor quality, says FDA officials. Further, soaps that were packed as 125 gram ones weighed just 117 gram. Following the issue with Maggi noodles and Cerelac milk powder, it�s now Reckitt Benckiser�s Dettol that has failed quality test.
