Grievance Meetings to be conducted by Banks to address customer complaints from July!

Reserve Bank of India has ordered the banks to start conducting regular �customer grievance meetings� to address and act on customers� complaints and improve the quality of banking service.
Information is gathered that these customer grievance meetings conducted by the banks will start from July.
Lots of complaints are being received regularly regarding money transactions, loan processing, and problems faced during loan recovery, etc.
Even if complaints regarding these issues are made immediately to the concerned senior officials, no actions are generally taken and this upsets the customers.
To bring an end to these long-felt complaints, Reserve Bank of India has come up with the banks to conduct regular customer grievance meetings.
Hence, all public & private sector banks will set up a customer grievance committee. The members of the committee are likely to be chosen from non-banking industry retired personnel.
