TNPSC Group 1 examinations to be conducted on 5th,6th and 7th

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Chairman Balasubramaniam has mentioned that 6 Lakhs people have applied for 1241 vacancies in Group 2 examinations. Yesterday TNPSC conducted examinations for the post of Assistant Medical Officers, under the Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy included in the Tamil Nadu Medical Services. - Assistant Medical Officer (Siddha): 63
- Assistant Medical Officer (Ayurveda): 8
- Assistant Medical Officer (Unani): 3
- Assistant Medical Officer (Homoeopathy): 9
For these 83 vacancies the written examinations were conducted in Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore Districts in 12 centres. 3695 participated in these examinations. 1798 candidates wrote the examinations in Chennai. TNPSC Chairman Balasubramaniam made a surprise visit to this centre.
Chairman Balasubramaniam while speaking to the media said, � Key answers for the examinations for the for the post of Assistant Medical Officers, under the Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy included in the Tamil Nadu Medical Services will be announced in one and half months. Last month the notification to fill up the Group 2 vacancies was announced. There are 1241 vacancies in various departments. The last date for applying for this examination was 29th May. 6 Lakhs people have applied for this examination. The written examinations will be conducted on 26th July. Certificate verification will commence on 15th for the 10.61 lakhs candidates of Group D examinations. Main examinations for Group 1 services will be conducted on 5th, 6th and 7th at Chennai. There are 79 vacancies in Group 1.�
