Smart cards to the workers of the unorganized sector

Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said that the Centre would soon issue smart cards to the workers of the unorganized sector to enable them to access a number of social security benefits. There are 45 Crores workers in the unorganized sector including construction workers, beedi workers, anganwadi workers. They do not have health, houses, pensions and housing.
Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said,�We will give U-WIN card and offer Rashtriya Swasth Bima Yojana, Aam Admi Bima Yojana, old age pension.
