         Chennai

         Hyderabad

         Pune

         Kolkata

While Delhi has 7.3 million unit vehicle population, Chennai stands second with 3.7 million which is closely followed by 3.38 million units. Mumbai however has smaller population than Pune though. Mumbai has 2 million units whereas it is 2.26 in Pune. Kolkata has the smallest population of vehicles with just half a million vehicles compared to that of Delhi.

Chennai has 2093 vehicle density whereas Pune has 1260, Mumbai 1014, Hyderabad 723, Kolkata 355, and Delhi 245. The advantage enjoyed in Delhi is the road length.
