How to do Surya Namaskar?

You have 12 complete posters while performing Surya Namaskar. What are they?
  • Position - 1 � Pranamasana which is the pose of prayer. Stand with your feet held together and breathe evenly having your hands folded and brought near your chest.
  • Position 2 � Hasta Uttanasam � here, you will have to inhale and well stretch your arms towards the back of your head. Keep your palms facing each other and your head between both your arms.
  • Position � 3 � Padhastasan � Exhale now and bend down. Your hands should touch the floor now and your nose should touch your knees. Try to keep your back straight while bending and not rounded
  • Position � 4 � Aswa Sanchalanasan � Inhale now and step back your right leg and have your right knee over the floor. Held your left foot and palms on floor and make sure your left knee and ankle are in-line
  • Position � 5 � Adho Mukha Svanasan � Bring back your leg to a plank position. Exhale now and push your hip towards the ceiling and make a shape of V out of your body. Held your legs straight ad heels on the floor
  • Position � 6 � Ashtanga Namaskar � Bend your body parts including chest, forehead and knees downwards and make sure all eight parts of your body touches the floor
  • Position � 7 � Bhujangasan � Inhale well and have your hands firm on the ground with your elbows closed on your ribs. Gently slide your body and look up on like stretching your neck
  • Position � 8 � Adho Mukha Svanaan � exhale and repeat the sixth step
  • Position 9 � Ashwa Sanchalansan � repeat fourth step with the other leg
  • Position 10 � Padahastasan � Repeat third step
  • Position 11 � repeat second step
  • Position 12 � Pranamasan � repeat the very first step
