The task of verification of certificates and other proofs for the successful candidates invited for filling up 139 posts for typists at Chennai High Court started yesterday, Monday, 6th April, at the TNPSC Examination Board Office at Broadway, Chennai.
TNPSC Head (in-charge), Mr. C Balasubramanian informed the press reporters:
Verification certificates and other proofs for the posts of typists began yesterday. It is scheduled to be completed by today (Tuesday, 7th April)..
Verification of certificates & other proofs for the post of Horticultural Officers has been taken up from 30th March. This is also scheduled to be completed today.
Verification of certificates for the successful candidates of Group-2 examination is also in progress from 26th March. This is to be completed by 8th May.
As there are 3 verification activities going on simultaneously, 27 benches have been set up and 250 employees have been deployed in this work.
The examination for selection of District Education Officer has already been conducted and interviews have also been completed.
The list of selected candidates will be announced before the end of this week.
Among the various posts under the TNPSC recruitment, the 2 highest posts are Assistant Collector & Deputy Superintendent.
Group-1 examinations are to be conducted for various posts including 13 Assistant Collectors and 25 Deputy Superintendents and other for a total of 60 vacancies.
The announcement for this Group-1 test will be made before this month.
There are more than 1000 vacancies for the posts to be filled up through Group-2 Examination. This is also expected before this month.
It is also being explored whether to introduce changes in the format of these examinations.
Group-4 examinations have been conducted already. More than 10 Lakh candidates wrote the examination. They have been awaiting the results eagerly. The results are expected to be announced before this month.
